Enjoy the award winning London show, The Book of Mormon with your dear ones running with packed houses at the magnificent Prince of Wales Theatre! The popular nine-time Tony-winning, multi-Olivier awarded and Grammy-getting musical is touching the chords of heart of people across the globe from the last six years.
The show is penned by the satirical masterminds of Avenue Q along with the creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker. The laugh-out-loud comedy about the Mormon religion has touched some of the most sensitive topics in a hilarious manner such as organised religion, consumerism, the current economy and the musical theatre genre itself.
On 24th March 2011, The Book Of Mormon made its debut with sold-out audiences at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on Broadway followed by an immensely successful tour to US and Canada. On 25th February 2013, the show had its UK premiere in the West End whereas in Melbourne on 18 January 2017.
The immensely entertaining and satirical show, The Book of Mormon went on winning some of the most prestigious and great awards such as the Best New Musical Olivier Award in 2014. The show also earned rave reviews from every publication in London. The show is still running with packed houses at the London Westend theatres.
On their visit to Uganda, they discover land in a poverty-stricken, crime-riddled and disease-filled village. Both the Mormon Brothers find their faith shaken at thousands of miles from Salt Lake City as they face some of the biggest of reality checks.
The Book Of Mormon contains explicit language and adult topics and need to be viewed under Parental guidance. The 2 hours and 20 minutes long show, including a 15-minute interval. In a typical week it plays at 7.30pm from Monday to Saturday, with a 2.30pm matinee on Wednesday and Saturday.
Currently, KJ Hippensteel and Cody Jamison Strand are making their West End debuts as Elder Price and Elder Cunningham. Leanne Robinson portrays Nabulungi and Steven Webb plays both Moroni and Elder McKinley. Richard Lloyd King plays Mafala Hatimbi renowned for A Chorus Line, Cats, Miss Saigon and The Bodyguard.
